Second one of the dancer serie

Wanted to tell something between reflexion and sadness, some kinf of introspection (don't know if this word means something in english)

Character is Daz v5
Posed in DAZ4
Rendered in max vith Vray

** i wanted to lit this scene with a minimum of light, on my screen it is as i wanted to be, just want to know if its not a bit too dark on others screen (a story of calibration...)

Love this! I can really feel the sadness in this scene. I like the "tilted" camera, I do that in some of my renders to.

Superbly composed... very evocative... thoughtful and sensual. Excellent use of the props to set the moment. Love it :)

This is really good for animation. I am usually not too fond of it, but this is beautiful.

I love this render! Very soft, sexy; and yes, introspective is a good word for this! :)

thank you very much!

by the way the floor has exactly the same settings as the other render :)

I agree with you.
that's not because I didn't tell you that I didn't notice that.

**

great stuff man! you been on a good roll with this new series of renders. lighting looks pretty good to me, not too dark. ;) by the way, did you use ambient occlusion on this one? seems like you did as it appears pretty dark in detailed areas. if so, looks good, gives it a nice contrasted look. just wasn't sure if it was intentional or if it just rendered that way due to the lighting.

No its probably the lighting. I never use AO, its straight from Vray with absolutely no photoshop work (except the Zdepth pass merging)

thank you my friend for your comment :)

you're welcome man. i was asking too because you can actually render ambient occlusion into the render right from in vray without having to do seperate occlusion passes. it's under the global illumination settings. just had that look to it. i rarely ever use it myself as it can totally destroy a perfectly good render if overused. at least that was my finding. :P
